Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Ruth Lynch Hair Loss and Extensions Specialist, including hairdressing, hair extensions, training, consultations, products, and any associated services. By booking an appointment, purchasing a service or product, or attending a training, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Appointments & Booking
All appointments must be booked in advance. You can book online or by contacting the salon.
A deposit may be required to secure some bookings, particularly for hair extension services. Unless stated otherwise, deposits are non-refundable.
Appointments can be rescheduled with at least 72 hours’ notice without losing your deposit. Cancellations or rescheduling within 72 hours may result in the deposit being lost and a new deposit required.
3. Arrival & Punctuality
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Extensions and specialist services are scheduled with sufficient time to deliver quality results.
If you arrive late, we may need to shorten your appointment to avoid affecting other clients.
4. Services & Consultations
All services, including hair extensions and mesh integration systems, are tailored to individual hair needs and client consultations.
We will provide an honest assessment of suitability, expected results, aftercare, and maintenance.
Extensions and specialist hair solutions are not guaranteed to suit every hair type or condition, and results depend on individual hair health and follow-up care.
5. Hair & Product Sales
Products and hair (e.g., extensions or hairpieces) may be sold as part of a service or separately.
Hair and products cannot be returned once the original packaging has been opened (unless faulty).
All product sales are subject to availability and may be amended without notice.
6. Payment
Full payment is due at the end of your appointment or at the time of purchase.
We accept card payments and any payment methods displayed on our website or in-salon.
Any additional services or aftercare products added during a visit must be paid for at the same time.
7. Aftercare & Maintenance
Proper aftercare and regular maintenance (e.g., refits) are essential for the longevity and health of hair extensions.
Failure to follow aftercare advice may affect results and can lead to additional charges.
We provide aftercare instructions specific to your service, and you are responsible for following them.
8. Extension Fittings & Maintenance Appointments
Maintenance appointments including refits, adjustments or removals must be booked in advance.
Hair must be clean and free of heavy product build-up for extension maintenance, additional charges may apply for correction work if this is not adhered to.
9. Cancellations & Missed Appointments
Cancellations or reschedules with less than 72 hours’ notice may result in loss of deposit and/or additional charges.
“No-shows” (missed appointments without notice) will forfeit any deposit paid and may require a new deposit to rebook.
10. Liability & Client Responsibility
We take every care in delivering services, but no guarantees can be made about the outcome, including hair growth, colour longevity, extension life, or thickness improvement.
Clients must disclose allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, pregnancy, or any health issues that could affect service outcome.
We are not liable for damage caused by improper aftercare or follow-up treatments done outside Ruth Lynch Hair Loss and Extensions Specialist.
11. Complaints & Feedback
We aim for every client to be delighted with their service. If you have concerns or are unhappy with your service, please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment so we can address it.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update or change these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to check for updates.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
